Austrian Pavilion for Shanghai EXPO 2010 was a project done by SPAN and Zeytinoglu Architects from Vienna. The red and white porcelain tile enveloping building symbolizes the historical significance the material has for both countries. The form of the pavilion, on the other hand, points to the future and was inspired by the efficient systems found in nature.
My role as Project Architect was to design complex interior elements such as VIP bar, restaurant bar, info pult and shop desk among others, as well as development of CNC milled facade and production of construction drawings.
